Please note: The majority of the fish caught on Lake Superior are Lake Trout and the season closes after the first weekend in October, therefore all the Lake Trout caught after that weekend must be released!  In past Octobers we have generally caught between 2 & 8 Salmon per charter. If you are happy to keep a few Salmon, maybe a Kamloop Trout or 2 and release the Lake Trout then October offers an excellent opportunity to see the fall colors, experience Lake Superior and do some fishing. However if your goal is to bring home a cooler full of fish do not schedule an October charter. Please be prepared and bring warm clothing.
